Educational Opportunities

Ketura stables enable children who live on Kibbutz Ketura to take weekly riding lessons. In addition, a leadership course takes place throughout the school year, with 4-6 schoolchildren who assist in the care of the horses and learn advanced riding techniques.

A number of Ketura’s children have demonstrated extraordinary talent in extra-curricular activities, such as hand-ball, ice-skating, or music. Many of these activities require a great deal of extra support beyond attending classes. Merkaz Hashachar helps Ketura members send children to tournaments and purchase special equipment for their performances.
